Come laugh, converse, and be entertained by the writer, speaker, comedian and director Rick Najera, in conversation with Erich Schwartzel of the Wall Street Journal. Plus enjoy a surprise performance from the showcase.
An accomplished performer, writer, and director, Rick is the director of the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase and writer and guest star on Hulu’s East Los High. Rick wrote and starred on Broadway, in his original play, Latinologues, and is a published author whose works include his memoir, Almost White. He is a sought-after inspirational speaker and presently produces and moderates Latino Thought Makers, a talk series showcasing successful Latinos in Hollywood.
Erich Schwartzel is a film industry reporter in the Wall Street Journal’s Los Angeles bureau where he covers entertainment and Hollywood. Previously, he was a reporter for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and The Boston Globe.
